Residency Application Process
We only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). The deadline to submit your application for the upcoming academic year is Oct. 31st.
Interview process
Interviews generally occur from late October through January.
Application requirements
- Our program application deadline is October 31.
- Maximum of 5 years from completion of Medical School.
- Minimum USMLE Step Scores are 225 to enter our residency program. Completion of Step 1 and Step 2CK are necessary for application.
- US Clinical Experience is strongly encouraged; medical student rotation or an observership in the Neurological sciences
- Our institution sponsors J1 visa only.
- Percentage of IMG residents varies from year to year.
- Your ECMFG certificate will be necessary at a certain time; but will not be needed for an interview invitation. (Stated verification of graduation will be acceptable at that time on ERAS application)
- We have 4 available residency spots each year through ERAS
- Two attempts on USMLE steps.
- This is a 4 year program (preliminary positions are not available)
- Our program does recognize approved core clinical rotations outside of the US.
- Our program requires a minimum of 3 current Letters of reference.
